Community
At BirlaNu, our approach to sustainable development goes beyond responsibility; it reflects our commitment to building resilient, self-reliant communities. Our social impact efforts are anchored around the pillars of health and wellness, education and skill-building and community development.
We collaborate with respected partners such as the Live Love Laugh Foundation (LLL), Water Management and Plumbing Skill Council, etc. to amplify the reach and impact of our community efforts.
Through these meaningful partnerships, we are challenging stigmas around mental health and enhancing access to healthcare in rural areas, enabling children to remain in school, and fostering self-reliance and livelihood skill adoption amongst underserved communities. Each initiative is a step toward creating inclusive growth and building a healthier, more equitable future for all.

Live Love Laugh – Rural Mental Health Programme
Our rural mental health programme, now in its third year and implemented in partnership with the Live Love Laugh Foundation, continues to expand across Tangi Choudwar (Cuttack, Odisha) and the NTR district (Andhra Pradesh). The initiative focuses on improving awareness, enabling early identification and facilitating access to treatment and rehabilitation for persons with mental illness (PwMI).
During the year, outreach deepened significantly with 2,073 beneficiaries identified in Tangi, Cuttack and 1,752 in the Kondapalli, NTR district (including indirect beneficiaries). By integrating awareness with care and rehabilitation, the initiative is helping reduce stigma, improve mental well-being and enable individuals to participate more actively in their communities, fostering dignity, inclusion and a better quality of life.
